CoreStack People · HR & payroll software

HR and payroll software for factories & manufacturing

A plant on A, B and C shifts, a muster that comes off a biometric machine, overtime every week, and a workforce that is almost entirely inside PF and ESI.

What HR deals with, day to day

  • Three shifts, one muster

Operators rotate through morning, afternoon and night shifts, and the biometric machine's export still has to be matched to the roster by hand.

  • Overtime that has to be paid right

Overtime is paid at twice the ordinary rate under the law, so every extra hour has to be recorded and approved before payroll.

  • Contract and permanent workers side by side

Helpers come and go every month; skilled technicians stay for years. Joining papers and exits never stop.

  • Statutory files every month

PF ECR, the ESI return and professional tax for a few hundred people, due by the 15th.

The features that matter most here

  • Biometric export importBring in attendance from your device's export file rather than retyping it; corrections go through an employee request and a manager's approval.
  • Overtime with approvalOvertime is switched on for this template; supervisors approve it, and it is on record before the payroll run.
  • Spreadsheet onboardingAdd a new batch of workers from an Excel sheet, with a preview of every row before anything is saved.
  • PF ECR, ESI and PT filesEach payroll run ends in the files you upload to EPFO and ESIC and the bank-transfer file.

And the rest of CoreStack People: hiring with e-signed offers, leave and approvals, payroll with PF ECR, ESI, PT and bank files, onboarding and exits — every feature.

Questions people ask

Can it read our biometric machine directly?

Not directly yet. It imports the attendance export your device produces (Excel or CSV), which most machines can save.

We work on Sundays and take a weekday off. Does that fit?

Yes. Shifts, rosters and the holiday calendar are per company, and a compensatory-off leave type is part of the template.

Will supervisors be able to use it?

Supervisors approve leave, overtime and attendance corrections from one approvals inbox on their phone, in English or Hindi.
