CoreStack People is HR and payroll software for any business: hiring, onboarding, attendance, leave, approvals, payroll and exit, in one system. It began as the HR module of an earlier product of ours and was made into a product of its own.
The problem
In most small companies HR is a register, a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group. Offer letters are typed by hand, leave is asked for in chat, attendance is totalled at month end, and the statutory files are rebuilt for the accountant every month.
HR software exists, but it is usually priced and built for large companies and takes weeks to set up. The aim was a system a small company could start the same day: pick an industry, get sensible departments, shifts, leave types and document checklists, and change anything later.

Decisions worth knowing
- Templates only ever add
- Applying an industry template adds the departments, shifts, leave types and documents that are missing and never overwrites what a company has already set.
- One server, two products
- It runs beside Basket of Pahad with a hard memory cap and its own database role that cannot connect to the shop's database.
- Signing without a vendor
- Click-to-sign with an emailed one-time code; the document's hash, the time, the IP address and the browser are stored with each signature, rather than paying an e-signature service.

Google Lighthouse scores for people.corestacktechnology.com/login, run against the live site. Lab scores move a few points between runs. Measured on the login page, which is what a visitor sees first. Its SEO score is not shown: the app is kept out of search on purpose, and its public pages live on this site.
